Roasted light to keep the bright cherry and citrus alive. Winey finish, really clean. This is rare coffee — Yemen is one of the oldest coffee-producing countries on earth, and the lots are small. We don't always have it, and when we do, it goes fast.

Origin & Details

Yemen Mocca Sanani — sourced from family-owned plots in the western highlands, between Ta'izz and Sa'dah, along the mountains running parallel to the Red Sea. Grown at 2000-2500 meters on original rootstock that crossed the Red Sea from Ethiopia centuries ago. Full sun-dried natural — coffee is still dried in the cherry on rooftops, the same way it's been done since the 15th century. Yemen's coffee lineage goes back over 2,000 years. This is where it all started.
